“I think it’s great that Americans are able to choose one or the other. We live in a land that you can choose same-sex marriage or opposite marriage and, you know what, in my country and my family I think that I believe that a marriage should be between a man and a woman. No offense to anyone out there but that’s how I was raised and that’s how I think it should be between a man and a woman.” – Carrie Prejean

Jerald Jenkins – Miss California couldn’t even get her thought together… “we live in a land that you can choose same-sex or opposite marriage…” We do? Since there are only four states allowing gay marriage at the moment, I don’t think that’s exactly true.
and then:
“in my country and my family…” Wait, is California a different country? She’s supposed to be Miss California and she doesn’t understand the difference between a state and country?
Oh, and then:
“I think that I believe…” So, you’re not certain what you believe? Then why the fuck are you opening your stupid hypocritical mouth? Apparently homosexuals are the epitome of evil, but she can pose nude and contribute to the pornographic world and exploitation of women?
Fuck that.

Jester, you are making excuses to be angry with Miss California as are most gays. Miss California was simply trying to choose words concerning a heated topic, and perhaps she didn’t say everything she wanted to say, but it is crystal clear that she does not believe in gay marriage. And, in my conviction and values, I would agree with her wholeheartedly.
Don’t you find it amusing that the gay community constantly talk about tolerance and they’re the most intolerant class of society that I know! Even some gay rights supporters have stated that Perez Hilton’s attacks on this young woman have set the gay movement back. He shouldn’t have asked if he was not prepared for her answer and her honesty!

I’m not angry. I am amused. She showed her stupidity… and with the latest development of all her nude photos, her hypocrisy.
Poor you, all us fags in the minority being intolerant of the majority.
And how dare anyone pick on slave owners or KKK members… the persecution must stop!

Jester, you guys must stop trying to make the comparison between gay rights and civil rights as it is not working and will not work. The example of what I am saying can be seen in the last election in California when over 70% of African-Americans voted yes on proposition 8. That clearly says that you have your work cut out as Black people apparently and obviously do not agree with trying to equate your argument with theirs!
Miss California was asked a question by a gay judge and when he didn’t get the answer he wanted, he became very irate which is what the vast majority of gay people do. Posing in “undies (she was not naked) as a model is typical, and if you want to talk about being hypocrite, then you should criticize Mr. Trump and the Miss California officals and tell them to immediatley stop the swimsuit portion of the pageant. Why? Because walking around in a skimpy swimsuit is no different from underwear in most peoples minds as it is also very revealing! You can’t have it both ways.

Jester, here is also something for you to think about as it relates to Miss California’s “Free Speech” and the atacks on her because of what she believes:
“Gay marriage has been defined by some of its supporters as a civil rights issue. Isn’t freedom of speech a civil rights issue? Therefore, let’s call this Miss California deal exactly what it is — a gross violation of the spirit of America. If a 21-year-old pageant contestant can be persecuted for uttering an opinion based upon a sincere belief, then all of us are at risk, as well.”
